Auto Dimming Mirror

ive been driving around in a mondeo ghia for the last few days and quite like the auto dimming mirror it has fitted,is there an easy way i could possible fit one to my galaxy?

I thought Ghia MK2 models already had it, mine has. Might be worth a double check.

the one thats fitted in the mondeo im driving at the moment has a wire that goes up into the roof lining(i assume)connected to the interior lights?and on the mirror itself has an auto button and a off button,the one on my galaxy has nothing(unless)it does it automatically?.

All mine has is a sensor pointing backwards. When you get headlights behind you it automatically dims.

 

The mirror has a plastic shroud that connects to the front overhead courtesy lights. The mirror that is just attached to the windscreen in isolation will not have the dim feature.
