What Is It Under The Seat

does anybody know what it is called that is under the car that is located to the nearside passanger seat.

It is silver with two pipes that run towards the front of the car and then intoa box that is under the car under the passanger seat, then with one pipe that runs towards the back of the car this looks like a extra exhaust pipe, help please. ;)

Are you on about the Aux heater? lets off a jet noise and smoke if the temp is 10c or under?

yes i think this could be what i saw a lot of smoke coming out of yesterday morning, it looked like the rear of the car was on fire but it wasn't.

should it smoke like this .

yup.the car will heat up quicker, also the cabin wont take 30mins to an hour to heat up.lots of peeps at this time of year find out that theirs doesnt work ;)

 

If you wish to know more there is loads of info on it as im not too technical minded on it as mine when i had my galaxy never worked.

 

the smoke is normal colour yes? not black or blue?

no it is not that clear i would say more blue then anything else

do you get a jet engine type noise aswell? no idea myself what it sounds like but from what i have read on here that is similar to what it should sound like.

yes it did sound like a jet engine starting up. it was really pushing the smoke out so it sounds like it must be working. but should it be sending out this blue smoke.

As far as i am aware, yes..though dont quote me on it.If it is the first time it has fired up then i guess it may be a bit mucky.Someone who actually has one working may be able to tell you.
