bigdaddy Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Hi guys, got a little problem with my Gal, she is taking ages to start and sometimes starts right away, the led on the door is flashing very fast and then settles to 1:6 flashing code(only does this when it takes ages to start),anybody know what this means, I read on a search of this site, that its the pats, also read that a faulty relay can cause this as well. cheers bigD Quote
big_kev Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Relay 30 can cause this problem on the TDI's, I'm not sure if it is the same relay on the 2.3 However it does sound like a relay problem ( cuts power to the Engine electronics ). Quote
bigdaddy Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 Cheers Kev, I was thinking the same thing as when it takes ages to start, somewhere in the fuse panel there is a relay clicking like mad, dont know if I have a relay 30, but that relay controls the ingnition/fuel, which I assume I must have a similiar relay. cheers bigD Quote
