Power Loss For About A Minute, 2.3 Petrol

Has anyone solved a problem like mine. i start the car ok ,drive down the road and at the same point every day it losses all power but dosn't stall but just bunny hopps down the road for about a minute then bang it's as if someone has turned a switch and all is fine for the rest of the trip.

 

Any thoughts welcome

i have same problem in 2.3 auto, same point everyday. I think its idle control valve

That sounds possible as the idle is quite lumpy when it gets hot.Where is this valve located?

Should be near the throtle cable unit on the inlet manifold.

I havent bothered to replace mine as car is due for MOT next month will get them to do it then.
