gregers Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 FOOTBALL WOMAN FOOTBALL,just how many chances do they need to attually win a game, rather then hope someone else will do them a favour?imho sack em all,and choose footballers from the lower leagues who are very hungry for the chance to shine, mind you in my limited knowledge of football,me thinks mclaren is going to get sacked by the end of the week?????? big_kev Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 That was an absolutely disgusting performance by England. I watched the Scotland game and although I will admit that they were outclassed by Italy they never stopped trying and gave it their all. England were pathetic especially the pair of nancy boys ( Gerrard and Lampard ) in the middle. How many England players were booked in this game ?It was the last game of the group, none of the bookings carry through to the next round, this means you are effectively allowed at least one good kicking of the opposition to let them know you mean business.Croatia had not a lot to play for and England had everything, why didn't England get stuck in ? No pride in playing for their country thats why  The only one who actually gave his all was Peter Crouch ( and the subs when they came on.) Beckham and Defoe actually got stuck in when they came on leading to both goals. Obviously McLaren and the Goalie will take the rap for it but personally I would drop all the starting eleven except Crouch and say "come back when you want to play for your country". This is from a scotsman...god knows what you English think. Quote
gregers Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 i agree biggy beckham played as if it was his last game, they never seemed to fight for any of the balls and just seemed to stand there and give it a good dose of looking at,the only football i follow is the national game and im angry they didnt try BLOODY HARD ENOUGH so to all those who follow football with a passion they must be truly gutted. most if not all are chosen from the premier league,SACK THEM and choose footballers who have every to prove and would play for their country at a drop of a hat and probably for free and not the inflated pay the so called(professionals)get. still not the end of the world is it,iirc where world champions at conkers  Quote
