mumof4 Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 Service charges can vary as to whether you use a main dealer or a wee independant place.Guess it depends if its your normal run of the mill service or a major service. Can vary from say about 150 upwards to around the 200 plus mark from a main dealer. You might find the small local garage has more idea what they are doing. My experience of Ford Dealers is that they have little if any idea about Galaxy's, they also charge for work they haven't done and rip you off for unnecessary parts. Quote

Cambs Swan Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 You have to look at the issue of the petrol consumption in the round. I have a 2.3 automatic that has done over 110k miles since I bought it new nine years ago. During that time it has never had a significant fault and the two trivial faults only cost about Quote

Plus aerodynamics there is going to be a huge difference in mpg, And driving style can affect as well. Quote
