Does that seem fair?....regardless of its route into uk,and subsequent "standing time"?....don't all fords "stand somewhere" untill sold?

It seems My gal was bought in Belguim by/for a birmingham based outfit called something like Motornational,on the 22/01/02. Well i say "it seems" 'cos they "cant confirm that due to the data protection act"

 

Strangely the shiny new style "log" book I just got back from DVLA says it was first registered "NEW" in uk on 04/03/02.

 

Guess when Ford uk says the warranty start date is?, and is there a known issue with CV joints?

How many miles do you have on your car?

 

I had to replace n/s outer cv on mine @ 70k, mind you when I bought the car 9 months earlier with 65k I knew the joint was on its way out as it sometimes clicked for a few miles until the car warmed up.

ring up customer services and give them hell done this many times with ford and usually you get a call back from local dealer with at bare minimum an offer.

I'm tempted to snatch it back if it aint done by tomorrow,and screw the service history...which dont seem to mean much these days...cant imagine why
