deadpool2e Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Hi, I have a oil leak at the front right hand side of the car (if you stand looking at it) It looks like it is under the rad. Question 1) What tools do i need to take the uner sheild off and any tips for doing this. 2) Any idea what the leak could be from? Cheers Quote
familyman Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 A 10 mm socket and an extention bar should do the trick ,later bolts were 14 mm so might be any of the two . The 10 mm bolts are a bit small and can round off very easily ,if this happens try an old 3/8 socked tapped on to the offending bolt and GENTLY try and unbolt it . Leak might be from oil cooler? mumof4 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 The undertray can be a wee bit heavy ( depending on how much oil it has soaked up  From what i can remember when i took mine off, two of the bolts were a pain in the tailgate to get off, these were the ones set high up at the front of the bloomin thing Quote
