Which Vag Com Lead?

i have been browsing ebay looking for a vag vom lead, this one caught my eye as it comes with.. ahem.. bonus software.

however most people recommend going for a usb cable and dont think this one is (it doesnt look like it anyway).

 

so can someone recommend .

 

1, which lead.

2, where to download software

3, whether i will be able to reset the flame out codes with vag com.

 

EDIT - just got a response to my question to him and it IS a USB lead.... so will this do the job!!!

Hi, it really depends on your year of Galaxy, I bought one of these leads off ebay and it came with all you need inc software and used it on a 2004 tdi galaxy inc clearing the flame outs on the vag-com.

PS The free software is only the trial version and you will have to purchase the full version if you need to use the advanced programs.
