Just been given a build date of 14th December and potential delivery of W/E 5th January, looks like I'm getting a christmas party car !, at least after the 24 odd week wait I get an 08 registered car :16:

Same, same, ordered 2.0 Ghia with X pack, power folding mirrors, folding tow bar, had to delete tyre pressure warning system as this would delay build due to problems Ha Ha. Order placed 08 Aug deposit paid

Finally i get to collect the car on Wednesday, nearly 5 months from order date. It's my first Galaxy so hope it is worth the wait. Hope you other guys get yours delivered soon to.

Won't be the 2.0 diesel thats holding you up. I ordered a 2.0TDci on the 6th August 07 (2 days before you) took delivery on 31 October. Must be one of the options I'd go back to the dealer and get him to try agin with an excuse.

 

Althernatively phone a different dealer and ask for a lead time on the same spec, see if he knows any reasons why some of the options may delay.

Lucky boy Jed, my 'to dealer date' is showing as 12th Jan 2008! That will at least allow me time to transfer my number plate.

Ordered mine late September. Was told there were delivery delays and it may not be until end November. Then at end of November they phoned to say hopefully before Christmas. I called today and was given a production date of 18 Jan and told it usually takes 3 weeks after that for it to be delivered to dealer, so Feb 08 before I get the car. I was seriously unimpressed and threatened to cancel the order. They didn't seem to care less.

 

Found this website and now realise I am not alone....

In your options Lotus, i noticed you have put rear elec quarter lights, i do believe that these arent possible anymore and they are fixed and don't open.

Finally collected the car today. Drove it the 200 miles home from the dealer and i'm really impressed. I have never driven an mpv before and it drives just like my ford mondeo. Just have to remember the length of the beast. Out of interest my car had a dealer date of 5/1/08 and it arrived early. Maybe you guys will get some luck to with earlier deliverys. Will post a review of the car once i find my way around it. The car looks great in Sea Grey and 17" alloys. The leather smells lush!

yep, rear lights i do like, right now i cant remember what else i liked about it either.
