Hi all

 

After much pressure from the wife and kids have just got internetted up, havent a clue about these forum things or much idea about computers! I have owned my 2001 1.9 TDI 115 for just under a year and started experiencing a few rattles and anoyances so thought i would give this a try

Is it best to go for original parts or does anyone know of a good pattern parts supplier? have you had any probs with your Seat

Dont always go for original parts due to the price, but saying that some of the really cheap stuff you see for sale on Ebay i wouldnt touch either. Its trying to get the balance.

 

Only had the Ally a couple of weeks. Been fine, had the air con sorted under warranty but other wise very pleased.

Hi Duncan and welcome to the forum. You'll notice that there are a number of areas that this forum covers and some of the members on here are either "Professors" or "Politicians" so when it comes to any questions, you'll get an answer.

 

Your rattles ....... mmm........I had an annoying rattle on mine which turned out to be the Anti rollbar drop links (ARBDL). Now sorted after a good search in the FAQ's.

when you press add reply or fast reply, you will see a little yellow smiley face, click that and they will appear, click on the one you wish to use and it will appear next to where the black line is blinking, it will appear as code but when you post your reply it will be a little icon.

Yep ..if you look at the FAQ's you'll see a link which will show you how to. Give em a good yank and you'll see the problem I reckon.
