O dear

Put very simple the track control arm is on each end of the stearing rack and turns the front wheels from side to side and rubber bushes are mounted at various points around the suspension and stearing set up to enable some flexibility and movement. In other words yours is knackered and there is too much movement.

The track control arm is part of the lower wishbone. I did mine 3 weeks ago. The job took about 45 minutes per side. You need jacks and stands plus 19,21 and 22 spanners/sockets and a hex key (6mm I think, but could be 8).

Here's the link to the ones I got:-

I also did the front disks and pads. Biggest problem is undoing the 27mm hex bolts for the front callipers....need a chunky straight ring spanner and 4lb hammer!

They're the track rod ends. There does seem to quite a bit of confusion between these two parts.

JohnR is correct, the track control arms are the bottom suspension arms or 'wishbones'. New track control arms come with the bushes fitted.
