wibble Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 The suspension options have me really puzzled. All pretty names but very little else to describe their functionality. I'd guess the Sports option would be most appropriate for giving it welly around the country lanes but I'm after the best compromise. I do loads of motorway, lots on normal roads & a fair bit of countrside driving. There are a lot of potholes, sunken maholes etc. So what suspension option do I need? Is there one option that allows you to switch between all the road types and whats this about what appears to be a combination of two options? Are they really compatible or mutually exclusive as I would have at first assumed? Quote
Nick Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Get the IVDC with CCD option, then you will have a button to select the suspension you want  Quote
Squishy Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Have IVDC with Normal, Sport and Comfort settings. Use the Normal setting round town, Comfort on Motorway and sport not very often. It gives a nice mix of comfort / driving. Have found that it you leave it in comfort all the time it does give you a bounce effect which can make it a bit like being on a ship but that wears off after a while. If you mix the settings with your driving habits it does work well. Another good thing is the Hill Start Assist would not be without it and the Electronic Parking brake (although takes a little while to get use to) is an added bounce better than that big handle that is standard fit.
