Global Closing

Just taken delivery of the new Alhambra, and I was trying to figure out if it has global closing via the keyfob. It will open the windows by holding down the "unlock" button, but won't close them again by holding the "lock" button. Is this normal?

I believe this is normal.......it stops you accidently pressing the button in your pocket.

 

Just as one of the kids puts his head out the window.. ;)

 

Global closing should still work with the key though.

 

I don't know if this remote closing feature can be activated via programming the ECU or whether it is fixed.

my 97 tdi alham will unlock open and close the windows but will not lock the damn doors tried reprogramming but its still the same not the end of the world fo a ten year old car but very annoying

to close them try putting the key in the lock then holdi it in the "lock" position see if this works
