Rear Fog Lights Have Died

in the last few days my rear foglights have stopped working, there is power at the fuse and the light comes on the dash when i switch them on but there is no power to the bulb holders in the tailgate ?!

The wires between the body and the tailgate are all intact and there is no obvious damage to anything else

Had the same problem myself.

 

Check for voltage at the connector in the o/s wheel arch compartment

 

If you get nothing, remove the connector from the back of the headlight switch and try shorting out the positive in and fog out pins. I think it's pins 13 & 4, but check a wiring diagram first.

 

Mine still didn't work, so I tapped into the loom by the drivers ' seat and found 7 volts!

 

In the end I ran a new lead from the switch to the rear connector.
