Smilge Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Have a look at this post eddy and I'm sure it's not the TMAP sensor that is causing your problem http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=12728 The TMAP sensor is basically there to measure the temperature and pressure within the inlet manifold ...a second MAF if you like. With an overboost fault code it is more than likely the VNT mechanism, which controls the pitch angle of the turbo vanes, is sticking. Other areas to check are the pipes to and from the Turbo / Boost Control solenoid (N75) and the vacuum pipe to the VNT diaphragm Quote
