Vehicle Recalls

hi guys.

I'm looking to buy a second hand galaxy, 03 plate. As far as i'm aware, it's only needed a curtain airbag recall clicky here

 

Is there some way I can check that the previous owner attended the recall?

Go to fords with the details and they will check for you.Have you actually asked the owner if they have??..they should tell you.

As mo4 says, phone any Ford Dealer with the registration and/or VIN number and they should be able to tell you.

I think you have up to 5 years to have the work done FOC if it hasn't been so it's probably not too late yet.

its at a garage so i can't ask "the previous owners" :16:

then ask the garage...say to them that you believe the vehicle was subject to a recall and do they know if the work was done, if they dont can they please provide you with the details so that you can check or ask them to ring ford and check themselves.

Ask to see the log book so you can get the previous owners details and then give them a ring (just hope their not ex directory).

 

Ive done that a few times cos its nice to speak to the owners to get the low down on the car.
