Uploading A Photo As An Avatar

simple question; how do you do it?

 

I've tried all ways, even trying to copy and paste from my Photobucket account, I need to know how to downsize a photo from either 'My Pictures', my camera software, or from Photobucket, or whatever!!

 

Please make any answers simple (like the poster) :angry2:

ok..to upload a pic from your pc.

 

from one simpleton to another :angry2:

 

1.Click on my controls .

2.In the left hand column, click on edit avatar settings in personal profile

3.Avatars must be no larger than 100kb..(tells you at the top etcc)

4.Click browse in the "your image avatars"

5.choose a location from whereever you want to upload the pic from on your pc( open the file)

6..choose your pic..(i always double click)

7.click update avatar.

Voila!!

To resize a pic..i use paint shop pro..i know how to do it in there....dont know how on any other program though.

Help mumof4!! :angry2: The program tells me the image is too big, I will need to downsize it; how do I do that (you clever girl you)?
