Hello peeps. First of all, sorry if my english is not that good. I'm a new member and I'm the owner of a 1999 Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDI glx, wich I acquired when I was living in London. I live in sunny Algarve for a few years now. My problem is as follows. A couple of days ago, I started hearing a hissing noise coming from the fascia, where the manual air conditioning controls are. The sound is not too strong, it's very quiet in fact, enough to be heard. It starts as soon as I start the engine and stops when I turn off the engine. It also stops if, with air conditioning on, I press on the recirculated air knob.I wonder if anyone would be able to help me. I tank you all in advance

The recirculation control on manual a/c is vacuum operated.

The vacuum pipe has come off the control or the nearby recirc flap.
