katman Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Scrapyard.........big toolbox....I'm sorry mister scrapyard owner couldn't find the bit I needed Usuall works for me ! That used to work for me when I had a Mini and a Transit. always left with several bulbs and relays etc in my toolbox but I havent been able to find a scrapyard with a Galaxy in it. Was looking for some headrests to fit DVD screens in so I didnt mess mine up. Couldnt even find any that would fit from other vehicles either :16: Quote
John W VR6 Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Bought some from the local Fraud dealers two months ago for about a fiver each. Quote
west Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Bought some from the local Fraud dealers two months ago for about a fiver each. If its the little pin on the female part of the holder then simply use a fine drill (2mm ish) to drill a hole in bothe the holder and recepticle at the missing pin,Then use a reasonable screw and voila. fixed Worked a treat for me. legin Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 I've rang round a few local scrappers and they all said they have yet to get a GalShar'amba in! Quote

Manxman Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 Is the cup holder broken off or is it just not stsying home when pushed in? Mine won't stay in unless I wedge a matchstick down the side ( I am still on the cupholder topic, by the way )... Anyone explain how to repair a holder that won't lock in ? Thanks... Quote

mumof4 Posted October 7, 2007 Report Posted October 7, 2007 Like the spec. Got to say, looks good in silver. Well done you, congrats !!! I have the silver one in my veccy..Quite cool as all the dials etc light up blue. Its a Tevion sanj...( posted a link to an ebay sale of one.) I chose that one as it looked nice plus i didnt have to mess around with cds in the car much. Now all i do is put music onto my sd card and away we go for a few hours! I cant fault it at all.and for what it does..its damn cheap but it sure aint nasty and if you were looking for a stereo that does all that this one does..id recommend it......though..it is only single din so a wee bit small for the Galaxy.
