Good luck.Are you sure :angry: ? I think that both mine heat at the same time, although I haven't checked positively. If they don't, why don't they? Too much of a drain on the electrics? Quote

Mussey1 Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Ivor, Just checked mine.....If I have the rear heater going and I switch on the front screen the rear heater stops/illumination goes out on the switch. I don't know if this is normal on the Mk1 TDi. I wonder if anyone else with a Mk1 can ckeck this!!!! Mussey1. Quote

Having the same issues, only a previous owner has used a 20a fuse...I thought it was a bit odd when I saw the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual which stated 50! Thank you! I can now change the fuse to the correct one with the knowledge that I did in fact read the diagram correctly. Quote
