mumof4 Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 After having a really crap day that just got worse..it was then compounded by the ex running over my youngests bike..claimed he never saw it..anyway,...this was the result.... Cue one sobbing 3 year old as "bikey" was "squashed" so i had no choice but to try and fix it.. an hour later..with all nails broken and tyre back on...and stabilisers swapped over...one fixed bike and one very happy 3 year old!! insider Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 How do you find the performance compared with the Vectra? ;) Quote
mumof4 Posted September 6, 2007 Author Report Posted September 6, 2007 well.....i have to say, that the MPG is a lot better than the vectra though you do have to fill up more often as the "tank" can only hold so much fluid.Tends to leak every now and then aswell......though when useing this vehicle you do tend to hold up traffic a wee bit..unlike the vectra where i just pass all the traffic. ;) Overall though, the air conditioning is better....there are no rattles that mean iminent stretch of the purse strings and much cheaper to repair. seatkid Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Hey, if you don't get em to fix their own bikes now, then it'll be down to mum fixing their Corsas etc later on....... I take it you have submitted the offending third parties details to your insurance.......and as it was a child involved, maybe the police as well..... ;) Quote
mumof4 Posted September 6, 2007 Author Report Posted September 6, 2007 Bikes are too small for them..when ever im trying to do something on the car the kids want to help!! The third party involved is keeping a very low profile!!..Its going to cost him a fortune in peacemaking goodies! Quote
big_kev Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 The third party involved is keeping a very low profile!!..Its going to cost him a fortune in peacemaking goodies! Thought you said previously you wanted to cut his "goodies" off with a rusty knife. Quote
