Badge Measurement

At last, I've put enough mundane answers and opinions into the forum ask a technical question ;) I have ordered 2 x GhiaX badges for front wings, 1 x 2.3 badge and a Galaxy badge for the tailgate. Would someone with the correct placement measurements please let me know what they are. This will be a lot easier than answering the million questions I will have in the future regarding digital photography in the pc section.

are they from ford??if so..they should know the correct measurements

forty quid souldve paid a visit to ebay i paid total of about 10 quid for my front and rear badges,

im assuming your badges are not in place then?

but as mum says ask ford im sure there tell you where they are meant to go for another forty quid.

these are the measurments from th tailgate of my Gal

Galaxy badge is 1.5 inches in from the left hand edge and 7.5 inches up from the bottom of the tailgate

my TDI badge is 1.5 inches in from the right hand side and 8.5 inches up from the bottom

as for my ghia badges they are on the back doors

So...in case you haven't got a ruler...it's basically a dick's length from the bottom and a dick's width from the side ;)

OK as measured 10 mins ago.

 

Mk1 2.3 Ghia X, I don't have the 2.3 badge so can't help ya there.

 

NS Ghia X badge:

To top of the 'h' from bottom of indicator = 60mm

To edge of 'X' from wing edge = 57mm

 

OS Ghia X badge:

To top of 'h' from bottom of indicator = 60mm

To edge of 'G' from wing edge = 57mm

 

Rear door Galaxy badge (NS):

To nearest part of the 'G' from boot edge = 23mm

To top of 'G' from bottom light cluster = 33mm
