i have a customer with the air bag light flashing on a 1996 td mondeo.

Any suggestions without using a fault code reader. Many thanks robin.

The light flashes a code(probably 4 in your case)so you will have to count the flashes first then let us know.

 

Warning,dont work on SRS systems unless you know what you're doing,is a few quid really worth risking your life over :(

Hi, I have a 2000, 2ltr zetec mondeo with SRS (Drivers side only) and mine flashes 4 times then a gap, then 4 times again, repeatedly, Any ideas ??

had the same problem. Ended up being the connection under my seat had come loose when I was cleaning my car and had pushed my seat back. This site should help you identify the problem

Tha article is correct, but in my case, after 2 years of trying, it was the other end of the yellow cable at fault, it connects under the carpet itself. I removed the seat to make it easy and have had no problems at all since.
