Hi everyone,

I have owned my mondeo for 2 years and have never thought about joining a forum on the subject till now. I have been having the odd problem so will be asking for some help some time soon.

Thanks.

Hi, don't know anything about Mondeos so my stock answer is

"Your car is damaged beyond repair and you should trade it in for a Galaxy......"

Hi Isaac ..... welcome to the site from me to. I had a Mk 111 Mondeo TDCI before the Galaxy ..... unfortunately I don't know much about them even though I had mine for 4 years???? Never had any problems with it and .......... bloody quick for a diesel! I'd buy another tomorrow if I could find a reasonably priced 2.2 ST TDCI. Luvverly motor!

Very similar to the Galaxy matey ....... either the self adjuster or the cable on that side is seized. Have you changed the pads at all on the rear discs? If not then I would change them and this will give you an opportunity to clean and regrease the bits and pieces. Remember you'll need a brake piston windback tool to retract the piston which allows you to put in the new pads.
