HI ALL, CAN ANYBODY HELP ME.

I have a galaxy 2.3 glx petrol and the problems started a couple of months ago, not starting and i found by flicking the ignition key on and off that it would fire up and be able to be driven, but when the choke was shutting off it would cough and splutter like it was going to stall and then pick up and run fine for the rest of the day. Then i noticed that when it wasnt firing the fuel pump was not cutting in so i changed the relay and things ran fine for a while then a week ago it just wouldnt fire and the fuel pump again isnt cutting in when ignition is switched on. Have sent the ECU away to AUTOTEK in Dorset for testing and they have told me that it is working fine with no faults, have plugged it back in and still have the same problem engine turns over but no firing and still no fuel pump cutting in.

Can anybody give me anymore ideas as to where i can check, test or have i got to put it in a garage and suffer the expense.

Look at FAQ 36 - Relay 30

IIRC There are a number of reports posted that wiring to the relay holder or the connections come adrift or get (heat?) damaged leading to intermittent operation as well as faulty relay.
