Front End Rattle

The old Gal has developed a Front End Rattle over the last couple of weeks.. :( ..been using the company Golf and never got around to looking at it yet.

 

It is not noticeable at speed only when going relatively slowly ( less than 40 ish ).

 

I cant pin it down to either side but it makes a really loud knocking noise like something loose :wacko: when going over rough ground ( small potholes and the like )

Can't feel it through the steering or the brakes. :wacko:

 

Any takers as to what it is ( common faults )before I make the effort to get under and have a look and most likely get wet and injured as usual. :wacko:

Dont forget that you wont be able to hear the zimmer frame caught up underneath at high speed due to wind noise!.. :(
