Taliska Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Hi, Got a long-standing pal who reckons he travelled in a Galaxy facing backward... I guess one might be able to put the seat in on the 2nd row facing in reverse, but I don't reckon the seat belts would work. Possibly he's getting confused with another car - like the Honda MPV? perhaps? Any inspirations? Taliska Quote
Dave-G Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004  I think there is, or was, a 5 seater option with captain seats that alledgedly swivel  Quote
Tigger Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 My wife drives looking backwards just swivle the drivers seat! Quote
batteryboy Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 My Galaxy Ghia front seats swivel all the way round. Quote
Guest nimrod Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 The only seat in a galaxy you can travel in facing rearwards is the center seat of the middle row, but only if its of the early type with a lap strap seat belt and not a three point retractor type Quote
HJT Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Did your friend say if they had a seat belt on or not, because yes you can reverse the second row of seats but obviously the belts don't work. Howard Quote
Taliska Posted April 9, 2004 Author Report Posted April 9, 2004 Will ask him tomorrow - off on holiday with a reasonably laden Galaxy! Taliska Quote
