jbatista Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 :( I am sick and fed up of my galaxy at the moment, it seems to be one thing after another and seriously thinking of getting rid. Just back from a hot hot Portugal with it and guess what... yep the air con failed as we were driving through France, the air con is manual and was taking a good 5 to 10 minutes to cool but now when the dial is on cool nothing changes, yet when I move the dial to hot it heats up straight away :( Has anyone got any ideas what the problem may be?? seatkid Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Most probable cause is loss of gas due to a leak - which may be slow and has been happening over a long period - or has happened fast due to damage usually a stone in the condensor (radiator at front of car). If you take it to be topped up , the machine they use will usually tell you if the leak is serious or not. Kwikfit have a Quote
