1310 Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 DEAR FRIENDS I HAVE A GALAXY 97,WHICH SOMETIMES WONT START....IT WILL TURN OVER....AND IF YOU PUSH RELAY 30 IN WITH YOUR FINGER....STARTS UP....IVE BEEN TOLD BY A AUTO ELECTRICIAN THAT THERE IS A DRY JOINT BEHIND THE RELAY ON THE FUSE BOX AND NEEDS A NEW FUSE BOX........IS THIS RITE,OR IS THE ANYWAY ROUND THIS PROBLEM....AS MONEY IS TIGHT.........PS HAVE TRIED A NEW RELAY AND THE SAME HAPPENS...............IS A NEW FUSE BOX THE ONLY OPTION......HOW MUCH WOULD I EXPECT TO PAY ANY FEED BACK WOULD BE VERY VERY WELCOME PLEASE HELP WARMEST REGARDS 1310 Quote
ola Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Hi I would have tried, after disconnected the battery, to use a small pair of pliers (a small, narrow one) to gently push the joint into place from behind. The joint may also need to be clamped together gently so it get a grip of the relays connectors. Quote
