as dam 2 tonnes, and then be silly enough to say how easy it is to get 53 mpg out of it as an average, and if anyone is daft enough

to dis believe, you will then tells what a wonderfull driver you are and what an expert you are at economy!

a wonderfull economical driver he is.Gio has not challenged someone to a economy race in one breath, then

Gio has stated that he doesn't believe you can get a average of 53 mpg, DAY IN DAY OUT. Gio has stated that he excepts this is

possible when TOURING WHICH IS DIFFERENT TO AVERAGE!And also Gio does not give a toss about what you think or think you

know!

All that bothers me is when some new galaxy owner comes on here and complains that he has bought a galaxy and finds it mpg to be poor

{average 40/45mpg} and reports i thought it could do over 50 easy.

 

And some will reply" its your driving style, cause i know bla bla bla"

never the less, Yes i believe LPG is a good idea for anyone

thinking of keeping a car for at least 4 years or for towing

a caravan.

Sorry Gio, I lied. I don't get 53mpg average. I have been pulling your leg. I don't even have an Alhambra, I have a 1988 Yugo, which is jacked on bricks outside the flat at the mo.

 

Things haven't been too good for me since the wife and cat walked out 15 years ago, leaving me to survive on my own. Not easy since I have no legs and one arm and no-one really visits me after the infection I got. But the little joy I have is talking to you on the internet, because the tele doesnt work anyone, since the rains last month that flooded the flat.

 

Anyway the cockroaches are less of a problem now.

 

Occasionaly the 3 bottle a day habit gets the better of me and I start imagining things. Hope you weren't offended.

 

There's a officer or someone in uniform at the door and I have to go now.....

I think you are rather arrogant - Mumof4 is correct - you don't believe what anyone else says .

You complain of posters English yet it seems rather obvious to me that English is not your first language and therefore it may be you who has trouble with comprehension. Perhaps asking people to explain a point better might be in order.

 

You complain of people sticking together - Well what a surprise - most of the characters on this site have been here quite a few years - so you really should expect that. I don't know how you are qualified to make the assertions that you do but whatever those qualifications are they are not relevent or required on this, a site for amateurs. Wind your neck back in and take a lighter view - this site doesn't claim to either be expert or official - read the title.

 

Just post your experience that you wish to share and others will do likewise - and you and we can make up our own minds as to who is or isn't right - but best of all we can use that shared knowledge as we please, certain in the belief that it is posted with the best of intentions. I for one have obtained enormous pleasure and help from this site giving and taking as I see fit - all we ask is that you do the same.

The fact that bigjeeze is a mod has no relevance.We are all members on here just some of us help things to run smoothly when tempers get frayed, i myself cannot moderate this thread now as i am one of the ones that lost my temper which i greatly appologise to you and all on here.Yes some of us are mods/admin..but that does not mean we cannot participate like everyone else.We are after all human....And being of human nature tempers get short.

 

To me the word toss is not meant insultingly and i appologise for any offence i caused you by useing this word...to me it means i dont care..

 

I still stand by all that i said in this thread in regards as to what my baby could do when i had her.. but i do appologise for my lack of control in this thread.
