Roof Bars For Mkiii Galaxy

Hello,

 

I still have some time, but I would like to know where and at what price you found some good roof bars for the MKIII.

My car was ordered without them due to the leasing, but I will purchase some at my own expenses.

Seriously, could they not be ordered through your local Ford dealership??..Or maybe they might crop up on Ebay??As they are still relatively new..they may only be got through fords or ebay as i doubt that many have been crunched so not available from a scrappys/breakers yard.

I really think you must have been hit or nearly run over by an MK III.

 

Regarding the roof bars, I know I can have them at 130-160

It might be a long shot but if the Mk3 uses the same roof rail system as the Mondeo and C-Max you could get the complete rails and feet for one of them but substitute your rails for the shorter Mondeo and C-Max ones.

Don't buy the Ford Areo bars - they are 8cm thick and don't fit any accessories unless you have special T-bar channels. For example, the only Thule bike racks that fit these areo bars are
