I have just purchased a V6 GHIA X AUTO with climate control fitted.

I returned to the car after a 20 mile drive and found a puddle under car,i had not had climate control on during this drive. on starting the car i found that the air con pump clutch was engaged and both fans were running.Climate control was off, even when switching on and in auto the air con switch came on but turning switch off did not switch air con off.The only way of stopping air con is to remove fuse or relay. the fans still run when air con fuse removed.

Is this correct for air con to be on permanetly or do i have a fault.
