katman Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 off to Yarmouth for a long weekend with the grandchildren Are you referring to the Isle of White.... or my neck of the woods ? Keith - Great Yarmouth :16: Quote
Davetheref Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Lots of previous threads on this subject. When I had my Visteon DVD I did a lot of searches and could find nothing anywhere to make it multi region. I dont think the unit is sophisticated enough to make changes. Quote
Gadgetoid Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Of course the standard multimedia fit for a Galaxy MkII is a Visteon MB-8000 DVD player, not the dashboard mounted SD-8010 I've attached the generic manual for this - you will note it uses a different remote from the Galaxy in this form I've also not managed to successfully play a standard CD in this unit, although the manual suggests you can. If you want to play US ( Region 1 ) DVD's then I just happen to have a Region 1 MB-8000 - it claims to output NTSC, not a PAL signal, although it does play DVD-R OK Quote
Gadgetoid Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Attachment didn't seem to work - and it won't allow me to edit my own post to add it now. I'll try again with another post. If anyone would like that Region 1 (US) MB-8000 player then just message meMB_8000EN.pdf Quote
