Can I Upgrade My Tom Tom 1

Bought the GB version a few months ago as we NEVER travel abroad.

Anyway were go to Eurodisney in a couple of months and was wondering if its poss to upgrade it to Euro mapping and if so how.

You can buy the euro maps on ebay..or try the tom tom website.

buy the map of the region you want on SD card or to truely upgrade go buy a garmin or maggellan unit? with both these products you get better reliabillity and customer service!

Most of us MAY use download facilities that we know we shouldn't, in this day and age we just have to be carefull what we say on an open forum. ;) For example the TIS etcccc discs, freely available on fleabay but should we have them????noooooooooooooooooo. :D

but how many posts on here,give the wherabouts of a certain ford cd from a very well known auction site,

if you google almost anything your looking for, it will(most of the time)throw up a thread to a peer to peer site.

For a one off I would just get a large scale road atlas as somebody else has said.

 

Euro Disney is not hard to find and unlike lots of France is very well sign posted once you get in the local area.

 

However if you were thinking of going over to the continent more often then you should probably think of upgrading to european mapping.

u could find someone else who bought the EURO version, and swap SD cards for some time, or even copy them to your computer .....to back it up obviously! :angry:

tomtom maps and software are coded to each unit!
