gazza007 Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 Interesting, they have a 90PS Pumpe Duse in the range or is this just for Europe? Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 It looks like the screen shots from the Ford of Germany site I reported a few weeks ago plus some other text - I suspect that it could be taken from a new brochure as it's similar to the current (or just superseded?) one - certainly many of their web pages are duplicates of the brochure I have from just over a year ago, but with subtle changes eg to the photos of the wheels and body colours.Bizarely it looks as if Ghia now gets in-dash CD autochanger and loses the ability to play cassettes - so I won't be after one then (if money owing to me comes my way this year).90PS TDI available in LX trim only, as previously. ISTR that it's basically he same engine as the 115PS but with a different turbo and intercooler arrangement. For some bizare reason the Ghia is still not available in solid red, but is available in solid white! Dally Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Ivor They are from the new brochure! The new brochure is virtually identical to the old - I think with many of the shots they have just superimposed the new changes onto the old photos. According to the brochure photos and details, the ghia has 5000 unit - cassette with cd changer as fred says. The ghia is a better package then before with all the trim changes (apart from interior- ughh) it has aut dimming mirror now, dual aircon and second remote key. Brochure says that you get electric rear vent windows too but I do not understand how if they are giving dual aircon - unless they have re-routed the vent pipes! The V6 is obviously appears to be less value for money with just esp & heated seats on top of the normal ghias (plus that fabulous but parched V6 motor). Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 So Ford UK website is still showing the pre-facelift model as the curent one!Shall have to pop into the local dealer for a brochure if they are now available. I do feel tempted instead to buy another car whose name also starts "Gal" but don't have the Quote
