I have a FORD GALAXY 1.9 TDI ghia x T reg in black

When i bort the car it came with 2 keys 1 black plastic key and 1 normal silver key black top.

None of the keys are remote controled , should they be ?

If so were is the alarm modual,could anyone tell me were i could get key remote one please

Same here! just bought a V reg Zetec 1.9 TDi and have only received 2 keys, no remotes?

Can these be replaced? Where can you get them? Help!! :(

hi wil try looking on ebay for the remotes but it must be the right one(code)for your car.

hi there, will look on ebay, how will i know which one is the right code? am i right in thinking they are infra red not radio frequency? ???

if you do a search on this it should come up this has been covered lots of times,also look in the technical section under faqs about programing keys etc might be of help and answer a few of the questions you want to ask,hth.

Please can anyone advise where I can get a Ford Galaxy 2001 Horse show key blank.

 

My key does not the start the vehicle but to open doors via key and the remote transponder works ok.

 

When I compare the key with the spare cannot spot any signs of wear that would stop the ignition from operating.

 

Assistance req'd.

it is either missing the pats chip or the pats chip itself needs programming to the immobiliser

 

If you have two working keys then you will needs to program the third (remote key) to run the car - see pats programming in the faq
