Oil Suction Pump

Hi

I have borrowed an oil suction pump as our local VW dealers now use these as the sumps are getting cracked too easily when refitting the plug.

I have removed the oil filter and oil filler cap but am unable to get the suction pipe to go down anywhere.

Please help as this method is preferred.

I think you're supposed to stick it down the dipstick tube....... -_-
