Does anyone in this country still have a driving licence? the last few times i've been in a car park, people seem to have no idea of how to park a car! not just gentle nudges when you get too close to a car ,full on sideswipes scraping down the full length of a car ! what's the matter with these people?worse part about is they get out of the car and have no concern whatever about the damage they have just caused ! no one seems to give a toss about it!

Thats because their cars are worthless and they don't have any insurance either!!!

Don't start me on this one,

I drive 120 miles a day commuting around the M25 and the standard of driving appalls me.

Mirror signal move has now become move, mirror, signal.

Patience is non existent, and there are a lot of selfish, unvisionary clowns who think they own the road and can blaspheme at anybody who dare be in their way legal or otherwise.

Mind you a lot of what you see on the road is just an exaggeration of the way the whole country is going. I am seriously thinking of jacking it in and getting out while I can!!!

You must have better drivers there than we have here !!!

My daughters school is in the centre of town and whilst there is a car park only 30m away, it is either full, or for 3 days of the week closed as it is also used as the market place and is covered in stalls. The road in front of the school is a cul-de-sac and with vehicles lining either side there is just enough room for a vehicle to pass down the center of the road with about a foot on each side.

EVERY DAY there are parent who drive down the centre of the road at 30mph, you hear some of them change into third or fourth gear FFS!!!!

Its the same at the local college where my son goes to nursery. The entrance to the carpark is only wide enough for a single vehicle and is a blind tuning at both ends yet people still instist on swinging into the entrance at high speed. It took 4 attempts for me to get out of the car park the other day due to vehicles driving into the road with aother one tight up their a***

Why dont people have any common sense anymore. If it is a cul-de-sac or a car park then there is a very finite limit to the vehicles that can get in there....if you dont let vehicles out then you aint gonna get in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know if it because modern vehicles accellerate so quickly or because the majority of drivers seem to be total d*ckheads but they roar round residential streets at ludicrous speeds

The roads in my town are quite narrow and unless I am one one of the main roads then my Galaxy often doesnt get out of second gear.

GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Rough guide to driving styles.....from experience

Scotland.......not too bad mostly considerate......bit less in the cities.

Northern England.....reasonably considerate but a lot of unsafe drivers.

Central England.....about 50/50 considerate ...a lot of uninsured and unqualified drivers.

Southern England...generally inconsiderate as a whole....nearly all insured

London...mostly d!ckheads

Cornwall...mostly suicidal

Isle of Wight...Extremely considerate...everyone stops at a roundabout to let all the others go...maybe this is not that good

Wales...who cares !

round here it is a nightmare driving, indicators are practically almost never used by the majority on the roads, overtaking others has become some sort of sport to see how close they can get to oncomeing traffic before chickening out and making all other traffic brake sharply as they swerve back into their own side, car parks are a nightmare as my veccy now has a nice scrape mark along the drivers side where some kind old biddy reversed out of her parking space and used my car as guidance as to where her front end was..boy racers are the norm for screeching thru the village and slamming on their brakes when they see the speed camera on the bridge...and trying to get past gartree school at 20 past 3 in the aft is a flippin nightmare as cars are just abandoned all over the road with parents waiting for their kids!! (its on a corner by the main road) (not the school mine attend i might add).

Wasn't there some scandal of stand-ins taking driving tests? And also about examiners passing people for a, ahem, fee?

---------------

Our way, most people drive in the middle of the bloody road, even when there's bags of room either side of the white line running down the middle of the road. And they don't move over even when they see someone coming head-on.

Don't get me started on Mways! Overtaking, back in left lane, then slow down. WTF did you overtake me for in the first place? To slow me down?

I like travelling after 11:00pm and I see juggernauts in the third lane all the time. Once, I saw a truck in the first lane, another two in the middle, so I pull out into third lane, and one of the bleeding trucks wants to send me into the bloody barriers! You guessed it: LHD EU truck, got a blind spot so he can't see me overtaking him. Unless he was just nasty.
