Wind Noise

has anybody had any trouble with wind noise from driver and passenger front doors, this is my third galaxy and had no trouble before. i have tapped up the doors and windows but not stopped it the dealer says it could be the door mirrows but i am loosing faith with them. can anyone help.

i have it on my drivers door and i have come to the conclusion it is the mirror :blush:

Not noticed it on mine.

 

Fold the mirrors in and drive it, see if the noise has changed.

It has to be a gap allowing wind to come in.

 

Are you sure it both front doors and not the windshield ?

Hi no dont think it is the windscreen def seems to be around the door, i will try the mirror might even take them off and try it. At the moment its driving me mad and not a lot of help from the dealer (or ford for that mater). I think it has to be an airflow problem when its a windy day it is even worse. Thanks for the replies i will keep you up dated.

Did you ever get to the bottom of the wind noise around the drivers door? I've got exactly the same problem, been into Ford's lots of times, but they have drawn a blank! Tried the same as you - taped up door, windows, mirror, still happens!
