bramleydawson Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 Does any one know where i can get my hands on a manual which covers engine maintenance on the 2.8 V6 engine?? Just bought my first galaxy, ;) 1998 Ford Galaxy 2.8 V6 Auto Ghia x Quote
28vr6 Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Don't bother with the Haynes Manual as it is too basic for the 2.8 V6 my manual is a waste of garage space to be honest, look on EBay for the Sharan CDROM workshop manual which covers the v6 as it is basically/ exactly the same car. The engine is also in the VW Golf corrado and a CD covers that as well but the Sharan cd is the best value for money and info  Quote
big_kev Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 And there's me thinking the V6 was a Ford engine Quote
sepulchrave Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 You won't need a manual bramley, they really don't go wrong much and everyone here will be able to tell you how to fix the stuff that does go wrong (electronics and HT mainly). Quote
bramleydawson Posted June 29, 2007 Author Report Posted June 29, 2007 cheers for your coments, will be servicing the engine this weekend, if halfrauds have the bits, i have the haynes, but that doesn't cover the 2.8 v6 or 1.9td. many thanks Quote
