Oil Leak Down Back Of Engine 19tdi 90

i have been trying to trace an oil leak down the back of my engine it starts around the head area down to the sump although i am getting spots of oil on my driveway there dosent seem to be any oil loss on the dipstick but down the back of the engine looks soaked help!

my best advise would be to clean off the engine and start from scratch, the oil could be coming from a few things so not wanting to frighten you just clean it all off and keep i close eye on it and then post back and if poss take some piccies

In the mean time have a look at the top oil pipe to the turbo the seals do eventually leak and a mist of oil sprays up against the head and block.

Eventually it become a fountain but it takes a while 230k on my last Mk1.

Had that on ours - it was the gasket on the rocker cover, which unfortunately was not a simple job of replacing the gasket, ohhhh no. Had to get a whole new cover -
