Buying Warranty

Hi, everyone,

I am still trying to find out what the ford warranty is for "Year 3" but I am planning to buy warranty over the net in October for my 2002 Mondeo Zetec-s 2000cc.

Does anyone have one that they would recommend?

As a high mileage driver, I need the longest possible warranty possible

 

I've just bought a 53 reg Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Ghia, with 5000 miles on it

It is still covered under manufacturer warranty to 30/10/04, no mileage limit

 

In years 2 and 3 (31/10/04 to 03/10/06) the mileage limit is 60K miles

Beyond this you would need to buy one of the extensions

 

I drive 35K miles a year, so I am likely to be at :

25K miles at 31/10/04

60K miles at 31/10/05, and at this point the manufacturers warranty will expire

 

I can extend this with Ford to up to 100K miles, but that would be just 12 months and at

As this is a post that could apply to a galaxy I'll add my twopence worth

 

I have had several aftermarket warranties over the past years and never drawn on any of them. However I seem to have a friday night or monday morning car this time round and in the past month they coughed up for two new drive shaft assy's and an automatic gearbox!
