I assume from your questions that you are not using a dealership. Doesn't need to be an authorised dealer but they must use Genuine Ford Parts. Has been high profile leagal case about the subject of wether warranties are affected by non dealer service. Something abouth restriction of trade. Check the manual it usually tries to make it look like you need main dealer dervice but actually when you read it carefully it says something a bit different. Quote
