I think they may mean the water system when they said "engine flush", but i maybe wrong. Brake fluid should be change every 2/3 years as it can get contaminated and turn into slug and cause more problems.

If your vehicle is only two years old, surely it should be serviced by an authorised dealer because of the three year warranty. I assume from your questions that you are not using a dealership.

Doesn't need to be an authorised dealer but they must use Genuine Ford Parts.

 

Has been high profile leagal case about the subject of wether warranties are affected by non dealer service.

Something abouth restriction of trade.

 

Check the manual it usually tries to make it look like you need main dealer dervice but actually when you read it carefully it says something a bit different.

Thanks for the info. This issue has always bugged me, I will look into it following this.
