arnie70 Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 My Gal has developed a small problem. It has began to struggle to start and when switching ignition off the radiator fan kicks in for about 20-30 seconds (even if only been on a 2 min journey!). Recently had it MOT'd, passed fine, I mentioned these probs they think problems are linked & some sensor playing up somewhere, but they said it could be a bugger to find and would have to go on there computer (think they charge bout Quote
Guest wolfie Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 possibly coolent temp sensor? telling the PCM the engines hot when it's not and not allowing the glow plugs to kick in and then keeping the fans running for the same reason! IIRC this has been posted before and the sensor in question was the one on the engine block? IIRC it was Mattjnr who had this problem? Quote
