hi thanks mum but i took the key down to ford to them changed he told me there was enough life in them, it will open the car on the fob and manually but once locked and you try it again in about an hour or so and point the key at it nothing happens i press the key to all different angles but nothing , open the car manually then lock it no problems it opens and closes until i wait about an hour or so and go out to do it again nothing dont make any sense at all, as i said the red light sometimes dont flash when i lock it so i will have to have a word with a friend of mine he is an electrician in a car depot if i can reach him very busy lol, thanks for the reply mum greatfull smoggy oh and i did try and reprogramme the key went through all the commands but made no difference?????????? If the light doesnt flash.but its locked..i think either an electrical problem, or an immobiliser fault.Might be worth seeing if you can see if there are any faults recorded by diagnostic/vag-com?
