Hello you lot!

I haven't been around for a while as I've been really busy, but...

The time has come for the old Gal to move on to pastures new, after being 'mine' for nearly 4 years and 112,000 miles!

So, off we went this morning to her place of birth, that place of worship known as Motorpoint, to reduce the long-list down to a short-list and hopefully make a decision and order a new car whilst we were there.

A new Galaxy wasn't high on the list, although I did have a good look at a brand new 2.0TDCi Zetec in 'Tonic' (or was it 'Stardust') for

with that sort of annual mileage ,whatever you buy will suffer huge depreciation.changing your car every 2 years `may` reduce your annual depreciation bill, since a car with 60,ooo miles and 2 years looks better to the `price range`buyer than a 4 year old 120000 mile car

Hmmm...........The galaxy though at 120k miles is just run in though..these cars can go for years and years and do keep their value better than some cars do.Nothing wrong with a 4 yr old gal with 120k on the clock!!..

Sorry to hear you're getting rid .......... Aeroplane handbrake? ........ aeroplanes don't have handbrakes ...... Toe brakes as part of the rudder pedals and an emergency parking brake that runs off 3000 PSI pneumatic pressure normally. I think you're talking about the throttle lever that allows you to power up the optional gas turbine engine that fits in the rear row of seats ............ :(
