Averaging Nearly 1/4 Million Hits A Day

Lol means nothing I know but we are averaging 1/4 million hits a day which equates to 27,000 + unique visitors a month so I have to ask if we have so many visitors why arn't the signing up.

Because/..they prob get the info they need to help sort their probs out, without having to register.Plus..we are at this moment,more a forum than a club..Some people may not want to join..just look for help with their probs.

Do what other sites do? lock the technical side and only allow access to it after they sign up! seems to work on other certain sites! B) mind you the mindless chat section may scare a few people away :ph34r:

A lot of clubs/forums etc..lock the technical side away.Which i think is a good thing.

OK locked it up again so you have to be a member to view, just the general section unlocked

surely with the technical section locked, new visitors won't know the wealth of information available on the technical section and therefore won't bother signing up?

Been readin lots of info on here and yes theirs a lot of knowledge, but i'm personaly put off posting by the higher than nesisary levels of testosterone exhibited by some people! there i said it! feels better off my chest!

For some reason, yes this place can get a bit heated..it comes in ebbs and flows....But dont let it put you off posting!.....put it down to frustration that if something goes wrong with the Gal/Shazza or whatever you drive..it can be expensive to diagnose/fix the fault.

 

As for the filename you see..but i dont....it could be called that for many reasons..depending on where/which folder it was saved in!..and believe me..those figures are prob more than accurate.

It was called that name cos hits don't really mean a thing but everyone uses them as a benchmark.

 

What is important is the amount of visitors and page views as this gives a more accurate impression as to how successful a site is, as you can see by the accurate figures this site is very successful.
