5th Door Wire Harness

I'm sure this must have been asked before? I have found a few damaged wires going into the top RH corner of the 5th door, I repaired two wires (new wire soldered in with shrink wrap) but the others cables are cracked, should I replace all the cables? or wait until they break?

Replace the lot.

 

Go to an electrical wholesaler and ask for a metre of SY cable. It comes in various cores and ratings.

 

Make sure the gaiter and plastic grommets are ok, less than a fiver from VW.

 

Solder in the door at the bottom of the window and the pillar below the seat belt mount.
