Not Starting

please help.

i have a galaxy 2.0lt petrol. the problem started this weekend. when the car did start on fri. but cut out shortly afterwards and wouldn't start. then after half hour tried and started.

tried again sat. started fine but took for a spin. came back later wouldn't start . called AA still wouldn't start.

it is turning over but not firing.

is the fuel pump worked off relay 30. as removed outlet on fuel pump to test if any petrol coming out . nothing but have got voltage going to pump.

is the pump suppose to make a noise when ignition is turned on.

tested pump by putting another supply on pump and worked.

relay 30 took apart and found dry joint resoldered and hey presto. the car started .

saved a fortune thanks to you all.
